How does it work?
User manual Dumoco app
Are you participating in a project and have you been invited to register in the app? The instructions below will guide you in using the app.

1. Download and register
- You will receive a letter or email from the project you are participating in with a link where you can download the app;
- Download the Dumoco app in the Appstore (iOS) or Playstore (Android)
- Open the Dumoco app and fill in the following details to register: Valid email address, First and last name & Phone number
- You will receive a verification code by SMS.
- Copy the verification code into the Dumoco app;
- We will then ask you to make a €0.01 payment. This is part of the verification process and gives us the opportunity to collect the travel money if the budget is exceeded.


2. Activating the mobility card
- You will receive a mobility card sent to your home address. As soon as you have received the card, you can link it to the Dumoco app. You do this by entering the 16-digit number on the front of the Dumoco OV chip card in the app;
- After activating your mobility card you have to wait 4 hours. During this time, actions are automatically performed that ensure that you can put your necessary travel products on the OV chip card after 4 hours;
- When 4 hours have passed, you can go to the nearest NS ticket machine or service point to put your travel products on the card. Please refer to our frequently asked questions to learn how this works.


3. Travel
- If you have put your travel products on the map, you are able to travel. Consult all project communication to see which means of transport you can use during the project.
4. Consult account balance and travel transactions
- Consult the Dumoco app to see how much account balance you have left.
- Use the Dumoco app to consult your travel transactions. These can be found in the 'travel history' tab. Please note: It can take up to 48 hours for us to receive all travel transactions from the carriers. It therefore always takes a while before all transactions and your travel budget is updated.
- Transactions made with shared mobility providers also appear in the Dumoco app within 48 hours.


5. Settlement of travel transactions
- If you travel through a project with the Dumoco app, you will in many cases receive a travel budget. If you stay within this budget, we will not collect anything. If you travel outside the budget, we will collect this amount once a month. You can consult the collected travel transactions in the 'settlement' tab.
6. Change data
- As a user, you can change a lot of data yourself in the app. Go to 'profile' to apply the changes you want.


7. Card lost or stolen?
- Simply replace your mobility card in the app by reporting it lost or stolen. You will receive the new mobility card at your home address within 5 working days.
8. Support
- Simply go to the FAQ on the Dumoco website or consult the latest instructions on the 'Support' page.
- You can find the phone number and email address of Dumoco customer service on the Support page in the app.
