  1. Introduction 
    The Reisrewards app by Dumoco (hereinafter referred to as “the App” or “Dumoco”) has been developed to support you in registering and analyzing your mobility activities. With the App, you gain insight into your daily travel patterns and can participate in reward programs. These terms apply to your use of the App.
  2. Purpose and Scope
    Purpose:
    The App facilitates the safe and efficient registration of your travel data (such as route, time, means of transportation, and other relevant mobility information) with the aim of providing insight into your travel behavior, linking rewards to sustainable travel, and enabling data analysis for policy development.
    Scope:
    These terms apply to the use of the digital service, which involves the collection and processing of both personal data and real-time mobility data. The App is intended for personal use and integrates both administrative and reward-oriented functionalities.
  3. Registration and Account Management 
    Registration:
    To use the App, you must create a personal account using a valid email address, your address details, and additional information such as travel habits and interests.
    Account Security:
    You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and ensuring that your account is not used by third parties.
    Password Recovery:
    If you forget your password, you can initiate a recovery procedure using the “Forgot Password” function.
  4. Use of the App 
    Personal Use:
    The App is intended solely for your own, personal mobility registration. It is not allowed to share the App or use the same account on multiple devices simultaneously.
    Mobility Registration:
    The App automatically registers data about your trips (such as departure and arrival times, routes, mode of transport, and other relevant variables). This data is used to give you insight into your travel behavior and to award rewards for sustainable and efficient travel.
    Reward Program:
    Based on your registered data, you can participate in reward programs, similar to challenge-based systems. The terms for earning and redeeming rewards are communicated through the App.
  5. Collection and Processing of Data 
    Personal Data:
    During registration and use of the App, personal data such as your name, email address, address details, and other profile information are collected.
    Mobility Data:
    The App collects detailed travel data via your smartphone’s sensors (such as GPS, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi). This data is processed to analyze and present your travel information in a personal dashboard.
    Purpose of Processing:
    The collected data is used exclusively to improve service delivery, offer personalized rewards, and support (scientific) research for enhancing mobility policies.
    Retention Period:
    Personal and mobility data are retained as long as necessary for the purposes of the project. In the event of inactivity or account termination, the data will be anonymized or deleted within a predetermined period (e.g., 18 to 24 months).
  6. Responsibilities and Security
    Usage and Security:
    You must use the App responsibly. This means you should not perform any actions that could compromise the security or functionality of the App.
    Security Measures:
    Dumoco has implemented technical, organizational, and physical measures to ensure the security and integrity of your data. This includes encryption of sensitive information, regular backups, and strict access controls.
    Fraud Prevention:
    If fraud or misuse of your account is suspected, Dumoco reserves the right to conduct checks and, if necessary, restrict or terminate your access to the App.
  7. Third Parties and Data Sharing 
    Collaboration with Third Parties:
    To ensure optimal functionality of the App, Dumoco may collaborate with selected third parties, such as mobility providers and supporting service suppliers.
    Data Sharing:
    Your data is shared only with third parties involved in the service delivery, and this is done under strict conditions in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
    Anonymization:
    For reporting and research purposes, data is aggregated and anonymized so that individual users cannot be identified.
  8. Liability and Indemnification
    Liability:
    Dumoco strives to keep the App available and accurate at all times but cannot guarantee that there will be no technical or functional issues.
    Indemnification:
    By using the App, you agree to indemnify Dumoco from all claims resulting from incorrect or careless use of the service, unless caused by gross negligence or intent.
  9. Changes and Termination
    Changes:
    Dumoco reserves the right to amend these user terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the App. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may stop using the service.
    Termination:
    You can terminate your participation in the App at any time by deleting your account. In case of misuse, Dumoco reserves the right to deactivate your account without prior notice.

Complaints Procedure:
If you have a complaint about data processing or the functioning of the App, an internal complaints procedure will follow. If this does not lead to a satisfactory solution, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
